Looking to set up a glove bag program - any ideas? I have an old NUREG book someone found in a drawer, nothing much else.

For what?  Rad work?  Asbestos work?  What?

DOE-STD-1128-2008   Start with this. Have you got a really good internal dosimetry program? You'll need it. You would have to be more specific on what you are doing. Glove bags and boxes can be serious business with a tremendous amount of potential exposure. One small poke and you get to learn about chelation. Hanford and SRS both have been working with glove boxes for fifty years.

Thanks, that looks like some good info. We're mostly talking about engineering controls for pipe prep in an alpha-significant power plant. We have some specially designed glove bags on hand but no formal program.
