A friend called me and told me about  this the day Robert passed away. He fought the good fight and is at peace. Robert had a wonderful smile and was always willing to answer a question or laugh with you, to get through a tough job or situation. His easy going manner and wit made him a favorite for us roadies visiting STP.

My condolences go out to all his family and friends, and all that loved him . You are all in my prayers

Robert was a wonderful person & technician.  We started at STP about the same time, so went thru a lot of training together.  I always enjoyed his company & humor and reget that I didn't get to work with him much in the plant.  We'll miss you, Robert...   :(
We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner! I can’t think what anybody sees in them.      - B. Baggins
