I asked if people that liked the 2008 logo had grown to love the 2009 logo.

I'm still sporting the 01-03 on my mud flaps.

I haven't put them in the store, but I have 2009 style stickers now.

That must have been one seriously painful tattoo.

I seen the poll and assumed we were looking at other logos.

I looked at other sites like the American Nuclear Society and their logos all look pathethic. Maybe Nukeworker could come up something better.

If I was Rennhack.  (I am not)  I would look at anyway to promote my website.  The Nukeman Nukeworker is OK and I can even see that people stay with a known brand. Sun Dog is right about having different items representing you. I think I read Disney has 200.  But I think Nukeworker could have 2 if they wanted.

However, I  would try at least something even if you do not want to call it the official logo that looks professional with Nukeworker.com on it.  Nukeworker just does not cover people at nuke plants and they may want something else. If I could sell stuff in my store with a different logo than my original  and make a profit while promoting my website I would.

Just my 2 cents.

A viable option may have been overlooked.  Professional organizations often have multiple 'logos' that have strong brand recognition.  Neither detracting from the other.

Take the Philadelphia Phillies for example.  They have the Philly Phanatic, a cartoonish character that appeals to the young and young at heart.  The Phillies also have a very professional logo that symbolizes professionalism and embraces their history.  The two corporate symbols are not mutually exclusive.

I agree and to be honest when you have bobble heads made up and name the logo, etc it leans more to being a mascot than a logo; in fact I thought he was the mascot!

I have run a retail store and while I don't have a degree in business, I have attended a great number of trade shows and can say that a set of coffee mugs, shot glasses, key chains etc would look wonderful with a crest type logo on them and would appeal those of us that want a more professional looking product.

While you guys were splitting hairs about the terms mascots and logos, you may have missed an opportunity to have the best of both scenarios.  Too bad.  But at least group think is alive and well.

A few Disney Logos, Mascots etc. maybe 100 here did not count, there is a continue button at the bottom if you want more.  http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&source=imghp&biw=1020&bih=559&q=disney+logo&gbv=2&aq=7&aqi=g10&aql=f&oq=disney&gs_rfai=

Personally; I like the new, friendly, logo much better than the old dead-zombie looking guy.

He couldn't help it, it was before the 10 CFR 26 Fatigue Rule ;)

OMG I love the beer mugs/steins. I would also consider shot glasses as I know a lot of people who collect them.
