I graduate August 13th with a B.S. in Health Physics from Bloomsburg University and I am on a waiting list to work outages this fall. I was wondering if it is posible to take the NEU exam anywhere else besides at a utility, that way I can put on my resume I have taken and passed the exam.

Thank you for your time

The NEU (NorthEast Utilities) exam is now the NUF (Nuclear Utilities Fundamentals) exam and is available through NANTeL -- the National Academy for Nuclear Training electronic Learning program. Only an employer or Union can put you into the NANTeL system and then the test has to be administered by a NANTel authorized Proctor. Not likely to happen until you have an employer and destination. If you can manage to get into the system, you can study the material but not take the test without the proctor.

Good Luck. Welcome to NukeWorker.
