Hello,

Any one here can share knowledge/experience with the group on the subject? Canberra claimed that 2-wire models do much better with samples that are inhomogeneous in activity distribution on a planchet, but Protean argues that it's not true. Thanks in advance.

Are you;

Certifying large area sources?

Counting 45 mm loose contamination smears?

Validating ISO-8769 compliance for your facility source inventory?

Certifying a 47 mm planchette source?

I'm leaning towards Canberra is not lying as I and no one I know has ever known them to, and it's more likely Protean is advising to the notion that you do not require a Cadillac counting system for a Volkswagen program,...

They both supply fine products,...
