I am trying to find a job in safety, but I'll take what I can get to get my foot in the door.

However, it seems there are few safety jobs listed and few entry level jobs on the various job boards.

How do I get my foot in the door?  Do I need to call the plants one at a time, or do I have a better shot looking company to company?

Please help me out here.

Thanks.

I'd prefer to work outages.  I have been employed at Cooper for the past 7 and a half years.  During that time, I've acted as my team's safety representative for almost two years.  I thought I'd go after a safety position because it's what I have the most experience in, besides carrying a rifle.

I completed the OSHA 30 hour and the OSHA 511 this year.

Thank you.  I'm in with DZ and have talked with Klem Porod, the hiring manager for safety.  I just sent in a resume to Bartlett today.

I'll look at Shaw now.

I really do appreciate your time.  Thanks.
