I heard some very sad news from the K Basins this morning.  I was wondering if anyone knew any details or knew if the rumors were in fact true.

RIP Steve

Please visit Steve's online memorial.

He was def a  kind, helpful person, pleasant and I wished he had someone to share his troubles with... Peace to his family and to Steve's journey now. :(

Steve was always kind to me and making some funny wisecrack. I looked forward to being assigned to work with him because I knew it would be a fun day and he liked to share his knowledge about health physics. So I got to have a good time and learn some things. I'll always remember the good times with Big Dog!

Steve was a positive contributor in the work force. Oh , that we would be more tuned in to God and have the dicsernment to spot the hurt and need for someone to reach out and help. Steve, my prayer is that your life would turn into a "Romans 8:28 " where "God will cause all things to work toward the good for them who love Him and who are called to His purpose".

Selena Carrick wrote a touching poem for steve at his memorial. For all of you who know the route home from the 100 areas it will have some special meaning.

I would like to Ace- STEVE KLOSKY IN ONE LAST TIME UNDER:   RWP  K-100  REMEMBER ME.

I REMEMBER LAST Monday they said that you were gone.
I tried to make it through the day…But..I couldn’t keep a straight face on..

My Heart ached for you BIG DAWG
Thinking of all the things that could have gone wrong.

I walked through the week kind of dazed by the Ache,
Ignoring my Emails.
Unfinished letters and such.
Talking with Co-workers and The Bosses…….just a little Not Much.

I spent time with Barb, Doug and Terra
Sharing our Grief,
Searching for answers……..That are out of our Reach.

I Remember your emails, and persistent they were.
How the Packers would win.  YOU knew it was so.
You said.  “MOVE over you BRONCOS AND STEELERS get back.
BIG DAWGS...Winning this time….SIT BACK AND TAKE THAT!!

I Remember your chuckle.
Your laugh and your Grin.
SAVING MY BUTT WITH OUR PROGRAMS AGAIN AND AGAIN!!
Steve…. Fix this, Help me fix that… Was always my call..
You would say “ NOW WHAT DID YOU DO”  always helped me….Never complaining AT ALL..

I’ll remember the locker that you created for us.
You filled it with Chocolate for the nights that were Rough!

Over the years..that Shift work was hard…..No doubt.  We all AGREE..
You stayed till the end……..finishing up.
YOU WERE A GREAT RCT!
CHEERS TO YOU BIG DAWG!  For all the work that was tough..
I can still hear you say….  “AND ALL THAT STUFF”

I REMEMBER LAST THURSDAY WHEN I WAS STRANDED AT WORK..
You were right there to help me…and it wasn’t the FIRST..

I Remember your kindness, and you’re willing to help.
I’d like to thank you BIG DAWG…

Thank you for that last Double Sunday, and that last MCO dive.
For writing the Survey…….I didn’t think I’d Survive.

Thank you for all the times that you followed me.
Talking me through that MIDNIGHT STRECH HOME!

Out of the Basins and down the Road.
Right at the Fire Station and past the 4 corners.
Way up the hill and beyond SMURF and CSB.
All of your jokes on speaker keeping me awake.

The lights of 200 West now made it easy to see.
Down the 2 East hill….WHILE YOU FOLLOWED ME STILL….

Through the Wye Barricade and on into town.
YOU COULD HAVE PASSED ME LIKE EVERYONE DOES.
But you didn’t BIG DAWG……your kindness STILL THERE…
You came up beside me NEAR…HTC.
A wave of your hand and a Smile…..JUST FOR ME!

I turn on my blinker with Swift Just in Site.
I’d say…… “Thanks BIG DAWG,, YOU HAVE A GOOD NIGHT!”

Your response I’ll never forget…In your own special way and your own special tone…

A BIG DAWG………………….BYYEEE!
