Looks like DAEC Personnel are closer to a strike and it appears being a merchant plant in Iowa makes workers there not worth anything to NEE/FPL, even though DAEC is INPO ONE and a safe reliable plant that has run straight through for 335+ days. 7/31/2012 @ midnight NEE/FPL will no longer accept the current contract and may possibly walk personnel off site. Sad part is that the Local is not asking for much but the Florida office is playing hardball. They want contractors to cross the picket line if a strike occurs. Pray that a fair and equitable contract offer comes to those who are the backbone at this Nuclear Plant...God Bless
