Board for decommissioning topics?

(1/1)

Dear all,

I am wondering where may I post about nuclear D&D issues ::)... I have seen a "Transport and disposal" board, but I am not sure if there is a best place that I have not found...

Many thanks! I just joined Nukeworker some weeks ago, and each new day I found it more interesting!

Decommissioning usually is comprised of surveys (MARSSIM in USA) and disposal.  There isn’t much ‘NukeWorker’ specific discussions to be had in destruction/dismantling of facilities.

We have a MARSSIM area to discuss the survey of places and things.

We have a Transportation & Disposal area to talk about disposal of the radioactive material and hot to get it there.

We have an instrument area where you can talk about what instrument to use:

An area where you can discuss the software used:

We even have an area that defines all the terms:
http://www.nukeworker.com/forum/index.php/board,119.0.html

And a catch all area:
http://www.nukeworker.com/forum/index.php/board,7.0.html

We break down the Decommissioning category into small sub-categories.  You just find the sub-category that address's the decommissioning aspect you are talking about.

We even have a sub-board for each site.

Dear Rennhack,

Many thanks for your kind reply.  :)

We have found D&D tasks one of the areas where the products we are trying to develop may be more useful. Also, as D&D is a market experiencing a big increase in size (specially in some European countries as UK or Germany) it seems logical to approach the sector and not limit ourselves to NPPs in operation.

I will post as indicated  [salute], mainly in MARSSIM and instrumentation boards.

Thanks another time!

Here's another link which I noticed a big "nukeworker" logo under sponsored and the nukeworker comic featured.
