Hi,
I have purchased a GMC-300 Geiger counter and have found the current software is slighly simple. My question to you is what is the best software for Geiger counters? Preferably free,
Thanks, Connor

fingered that you wanted freeware, maybe you didn't have original software like from the manufacturer and had bought on ebay.  the manufacturer price is only a few dollars more.  so i was hoping you hadn't spent a bunch of cash without buying from oem.  my bad.
this reads as a simple instrument.  software should be simple, in the old days, like 5 minutes ago, we used this type of instrument without a program and simply recorded any data to enter by hand into a computer.  if you're looking for a more complex program that what you have, ask for what you need.  eye am sure that some buddy hear will be glad to let you have it to drive a spread sheet of airborne calculations or watt ever else yew may desire.
