union laborer traveler for outages
« on: Mar 02, 2013, 05:14 »
Union laborer of nine years, have experience in power plants since 2004-excavating and locating utilities, some sludge removal from cooling towers as sub-contractor, white badge.  Got my red badge last year and enjoyed an outage at Peach Bottom and looking forward to more outages and free to travel.  How do I contact the union halls and how much advance time do I give them to get on the list?  I want to get going on a circuit (year round) if possible.  Anyone with experience who is willing to share info, thanks!

I know that Mr. Rennhack has posted a Union Contractor Contact Info / List before but I couldn't find it.

Look around.  You might find more than just some contact info.   :P ;)

I have looked at the sites you gave, but unable to find local union hall contacts for outages.  I have the excelon contacts, but would like to expand my field.
