Once a nuclear weapons plant, the Fernald Preserve now bursts with life
(1/1)
Marlin:
I stopped by the visitors center last summer, they did a good job with it. I saw a lot of familiar preserved equipment in the building including one of the on site bicycles that changed hands through the bicycle chop shops on site. ;) I had a very hard time getting my bearings on where the building use to be only the onsite disposal cells remained as a guide post. A couple of trees that where planted for some of our coworkers did not survive the transition.
