Keeping Dry
« on: Oct 13, 2014, 09:13 »
I get tired of chasing excavators in foul weather with three inches of mud hanging off my boots. I saw a new product, Never Wet by Rustoleum. It's a paint product which does not allow water to stay on surfaces which on which it has been applied. I got some this weekend and treated my boots. Yes, it works very well. The only mud I picked up on my soles was the dry compressible clay. As soon as I stepped in wet mud, everything fell off. I tramped, stomped, and otherwise carried on in mud puddles - felt like a kid -  and.... nothing! I even walked across a mud slick. Left perfect sole imprints, even the waffles on the tread! Great Stuff
