Rennhack,

What is the "score" supposed to signify? It appears that it is max payout x #Sites. What is the relevance of that?

If there is one nuclear reactor in the state with 24 month fuel, you have a lower chance of getting an outage in that state.  If there are six nuclear plants, each with 2 units on 18 month cycles, well... your chances of getting to draw unemployment from that state would be better.  So, best chance of getting unemployment from that state times the most $$ you can draw = Best score.  Is it arbitrary?  Sure.  Did I include ratings from our rate a site? Nope.  Do I know that YOU have a  guaranteed job in Massachusetts every period, and can knock down $700 a week in unemployment, so its a best option for YOU? No. The Max payout is listed, the # of sites is listed, make your own choice.  That's why the data is there.  This is just a tool.  Much like me.

Now it makes sense. I wasn't following your line of thinking on it. Thanks.

New York is STILL $420.....WOW. Just going off the top of my head it seems there hasn't been an increase in at least 10 years. Such a horrible state and I don't miss it at all.......besides Ralph Wilson Stadium.

It's not meant to be all inclusive for each persons specific situation (i.e. dependants), its a general guidance tool.
