Charlie "Doug" Brown
« on: Dec 12, 2016, 11:41 »
We lost Doug on Thursday, December 8th, 2016. He was involved in an automobile accident on the interstate in New Mexico, while traveling to a job at Hanford in Washington State from his home in Texas.
Doug at his core was a very generous man and the "life of the party" a lot of the time. While we are all "dented cans" in some way or another, we are all fallible. Doug's heart was bigger than most.
A few years ago Doug had rededicated his life to his family and tried his best to limit his travel for work and stay closer/longer with his family as much as he could.
As you can imagine Doug's family is devastated. With this being so unexpected it puts so much on this family both emotionally and financially.
Douglas was the main source of income for their family. They are hoping the community, friends, & family can come together to help bring Doug home and lay him to rest. Any help whether it be monetary or lifting this family up through prayer would be greatly appreciated.
A "go fund" type page was set up for Doug's family here:  https://www.youcaring.com/melaniepierce-711625
Even if you just want to go write on the wall at the site to offer condolences is very uplifting. If you can't give, you can go there and just share it on Facebook - that is even worth something.
Doug's family would like to thank everyone in advance during this difficult time for all thoughts and prayers.
R.I.P. my friend, you were taken too soon.
Godspeed mi amigo...your brother always, Big Casino.
