During my stay at Hanford as an Obama Baby I was repeatedly warned that PFP represented the fastest way to the biggest problems on the site. Might have been about right.

Just once I would like to read an article where they give ACTUAL levels of an ACTUAL isotope using ACTUAL units.

I've seen this periodically in Fukushima reporting on some of the pseudoscience blogs and it doesn't help: radiation levels climbed five-fold from 10 Becquerels to 50!

It helps me adjust to the level of BS I'm reading. Most articles about Fukushima are so vague they make me want to vomit.

Maybe we could promote the use of the BED (banana equivalent dose) to the press. 0.01 uSv or 15 bq per banana.  8)
