Hello all,

I've been in the Nuclear world since 2014 and have been to quite a few plants.
Unfortunately this New Year's I had a serious lapse of judgement at a concert and was arrested for Public Intoxication.

The charge is still pending and it's very likely that the case will be dismissed.
However this is my career and I am worried sick about this.

My last un-escorted access was in October and I am scheduled for my next outage in February.

MY question is, what are my chances of gaining unescorted access again?

My record is as follows:

Nov 2012 Arrest for bench warrant on FTA (original charge was Lapse in Insurance) (Dismissed)
May 2014 Non-prearranged speed competition (Conviction, paid fine. No arrest).
Jan 2016 Publix Intoxication (Pending, dismissal expected).

My credit is OK. 2 deragatory accounts but all dues paid and other accounts in good standing.

I'm currently sweating bullets but honest opinions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Graphic is our subject matter expert.  You should wait for his response.

My non-expert opinion is that the nuclear plants will likely require that the case be dis-positioned, and all judgments adhered to, as well as proof of rehabilitation, such as  8 weeks of individual counseling.

Thanks for the replies guys. GLW your pm was very honest. I'm hoping that I can present my case as best as I can and maintain my career here.

This is the first and last time I will ever get involved in anything like this, the amount of stress this is causing me in insurmountable.

My lawyer seems confident I can get this case dismissed one way or the other by my travel in date (SSES)
If so I'll be in the hotseat with security no doubt, here's to hoping they will understand that I have certainly learned my lesson and will
allow to continue to perform my duties safely and effectively.

Wish me luck.

Thanks guys.

EDIT: The case has been dismissed with prejudice which was the absolute best outcome. I could not have asked for more, very thankful for my lawyer.

Everything is still on the line. I'm going to a PPL plant next, any word on how strict they are as compared to other plants?
