Throughout Hot 2016 Summer, Exelon’s Nuclear Plants Ran Flat Out

Exelon Corp., the owner of the largest number of nuclear energy facilities in the United States, reported that its 13 plants operated at an average capacity factor of 96.9 percent from June through August, reliably delivering potentially life-saving, carbon-free electricity to its 10 million customers facing record-breaking heat.
