Senators Push to Renew US-Norway 123 Agreement

U.S. Sens. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and Ben Cardin (D-Md.) today introduced legislation (S 8) to renew a nuclear energy cooperation agreement with Norway that expired in July 2014. If approved, the agreement will ensure U.S. access to a test reactor that performs a wide variety of unique tests important to nuclear power plant safety and reliability.
