With the 115th U.S. Congress convening this week, and state legislatures beginning new sessions across the country, opportunities to promote nuclear energy priorities will increase. The successes achieved in Illinois and New York last year to more fully value nuclear energy facilities for their economic and environmental benefits have triggered considerable interest in other states to follow their example in 2017.
