  • No longer a nuke
It'll lead to work for 7 yrs or so at the site.
Decommissioning is the new paradigm - everyone was all on board the nuclear renaissance just a few years ago - well, it turned into a decommissioning renaissance.
I've done this before, and it's not bad. Long term work (no diem), pretty consistent hours, time for a life.
This is on the table for VY also - I hope it goes thru here - it'll give me a few more years of low stress work until retirement.
Remember who you love. Remember what is sacred. Remember what is true.
Remember that you will die, and that this day is a gift. Remember how you wish to live, may the blessing of the Lord be with you

Interesting but as far as "decommissioning" experience, not so much. Albeit working as a sub doing vessel seg and the like, there is history in that area. I will be watching to see how it all plays out.
