Newcomer trying to figure out Outage Work
SCMasterchef:
Never one of those boat guys, no master chief, just a schooled chef.

Anyway, first and foremost what are you qualified to perform (i.e., craftsman, engineer, Radcon/RP, laborer, whatever)? Like they said, look at the tabs on this website. Figure out what you think you are, call the employers, but don't bulls--t your information. Truthfulness is timely in our business. If your not sure come back to the website and ask, some one will surely (not Shirley) tell you what they think. Remember there are other job websites out there that court themselves to nuclear outage related jobs so don't be afraid to look.

That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.
That's about like a Solid Waste Specialist. :)
I agree everyone has to start somewhere, but there is no need to sugar coat it for a new guy just because that's what upper management tries to call that job.

Uhhh.... yep. Must need new glasses. Master CHEF it is...
However, in the context of the site, Master CHIEF would be more likely.
