hiring process for Exelon operator
« on: Apr 26, 2017, 09:11 »
Hi all,[/font]
I would like opinions from everyone who has gone through the hiring process in becoming an equipment operator at Exelon. I went through the POSS/BMST and I had the on-site interview at one of the Exelon's station already. After two weeks, I received an email from a Talent Acquisition Coordinator with email subject "Exelon Information" saying "Congratulations on accepting our offer for XXX station and We are excited to have you join our team!".

Here comes the question: I never received an email about formal offer letter or never said anything about accepting the offer (without negotiation or anything) before; so is it normal for a HR person to send out an email like that? I am new to the energy industry/Exelon hiring process so I am curious if this happens to everyone.

Thanks!

Mike

You don't say which site you are hiring at but most likely it is a Union position and there isn't any negotiation as far as salary.  That will be set by the contract of the site.
