Adm. Hewitt Ties US Security to Nuclear Energy in Middle East

Retired Rear Adm. Michael Hewitt, chief executive officer of IP3, said the United States should be a leader in the development of nuclear power plants in the Middle East to help strengthen strategic relationships and foster the adoption of U.S. safety and nonproliferation standards. Yet the United States has not made this a high priority and, as a result, Russia and other nations are moving to fill the void, he said.

This is one of those things that has a value you can't put a price tag on.  Totally agree.  Intrinsic value of nuclear power.  Huge.
