NEI Chief Testifies on Nuclear Value to Ohio Legislators

As the Ohio legislature continues to debate proposed legislation designed to value nuclear energy properly for its production of zero-emissions electricity—while also recognizing its other benefits—NEI President and Chief Executive Officer Maria Korsnick this week urged lawmakers to seize the opportunity to prevent the state’s nuclear plants from closing prematurely.

This story is dated May 18, 2017, about a meeting on May 16. It is my understanding the OH legislature shelved discussion on this issue for 2017 sometime after that date. Is anyone aware of any information indicating this proposal is not dead for 2017?
