SoCo hiring policies
« on: Jul 18, 2017, 02:28 »
Hi, I worked for a maintenance contractor at a Southern Company site a little over a year ago for 7 months. I was terminated for excessive absenteeism, even though I had accrued sick time and doctor's excuses for the days I missed. I wasn't terminated until there started being problems with the upper management and I filed a complaint against them. I've been trying to get on with SoCo and finally got called to take the test and have an interview coming up. Will the fact that I was terminated by the contractor that's on site keep me from getting the job? Actually the people on site don't even like the contractors because they're new and they kept screwing up. I'm hoping that's going to be in my favor.😂
