DOE Study Urges Reforms to Protect Grid Reliability, Resilience

The Nuclear Energy Institute is commending the U.S. Department of Energy’s much anticipated electric grid study, issued Aug. 23 in response to Energy Secretary Rick Perry’s April request for a report on the current state of the national electric grid and an assessment of whether recent market changes are affecting the system’s reliability, resilience and affordability.
