House Oversight Panel Hears Frustrations on Used Fuel Delays

With the U.S. House of Representatives expected imminently to take up legislation on used nuclear fuel management, a congressional oversight panel heard some of the mounting frustrations from communities forced to host radioactive wastes for decades because of the federal government’s delays in meeting its statutory obligations to manage them.
