The Federal Government should also be paying 100% of the costs associated with dry cask storage. How they aren’t is beyond me, I mean it’s literally (and legally) their responsibility. Just another way (along with the required Fukushima mods and ridiculous increases in security post 9-11) the Nuclear Industry is getting raped with the financial burden associated with our wonderful regulator....the NRC, who each plant also pays Millions to every year.
