I saw this article and was wondering how I missed such a large amount of work! Then I realized a lot of it was experimental accidents involving graphite reactors that were deconned and returned to service. Those and a small experimental Na coolant plant in CA which had a partial melt.
As I read this article, it gave a skewed picture of accidents which, none the less, indicates the evolution to water cooled nuclear power plants. But, there is a whole lot of anti nuclear jumping up and down clouding that issue.
