NRC is not DOE. An NRC regulated site does not fall under DOE Regs and visa versa.
Our access is granted locally. They do not use the FBI or OMP.
Hell when I was at SQN we had the ability to make tritium for the government and I didnt require a clearance for that. Only an acknowledgement that I understood we may do it. We didnt as I would have known.
