Mike Boyle
« on: Mar 05, 2020, 04:36 »
Mike Boyle passed away the morning of March 4th after a battle with cancer. No other information at his time.
I knew Mike when he was an HP with Rad Services in the 70s, a few outages at Oconee. Good guy.
RIP.

I am very sad to hear that -- he was a very good guy. Another Industry Original gone... its almost like we are getting old.

Sad to hear about this. I remember Mike taught me how to play bulls and Klingons. He will be missed.

We used to play guitar together. It looked like a ukulele in his hands. Another good one gone.

I am very saddened to have just learned of this. Mike was the real thing, a man of substance. I had the pleasure of sharing an office with him in a trailer on the nightshift at Peach Bottom during the EPU in Fall of 2014...I was the Rad Engr for Turbine Bldg work, Mike was the RP Supv for the Turbine Deck...we were there months. As we parted ways at the end of my time there, we both looked each other in the eye as we shook hands warmly...."We could have done a lot worse for cellmates, brother!"
I want him back.
My condolences to his family and friends...I was honored to know Mike Boyle.

Very sorry to read this. My condolences to his family. I worked with Mike several times over the many, many years he was in the business. Always pleasant, and great sense of homor, we shared many laughs. RIP old friend, and may God Bless.
