As time marches on, so do the minimum supported standards.
This site is OLD, 21 years old.  And its code is OLD, 21 years old.  And I am OLD, 21 years old!
Unfortunately, time marches on (oh, I said that already), and so do operating systems.  And new operating systems don't like old software.
We have been working behind the scenes to update the code base of NukeWorker, to run on newer operating systems.  We have gotten the site from 2002 up to 2016, and we are working on getting it to 2018 standards.
So you may see a few weird things here and there.  If it persists for more than 5 or 10 minuets, please let me know.
Some day, we might even make the site work on phones...

Funny, I have been doing a lot of code upgrading recently myself... and I am more than 3 x 21. Or about 211.377

Do you program in PHP, and or JavaScript or HTML5?  I need someone to make a new quiz question interface, so I can ditch the Flash interface that is shunned in modern devices.

Mostly SQL, VB and VBA because my clients use Access/SQL Server/Oracle/PowerShell... database stuff. Dabbled in HTML WAYYYYY back when. Of course way, way back when I even dabbled in Assembler for a bit. Don't ever want to have to do that again.

He is terse, negative, and he violates site rules. I have admonished him many times for violating site rules and it makes no difference. He is on his third incarnation because of banning on this site due to his conduct. He is on a watch for continued bad conduct. What about troll to you not get. Reality what a concept.

So, the site was running php v5.6 (2014-2018) because we had a lot of 18 year old scripts that couldn't run on new versions of php (v7.4 is newest 2020-2022).

However, some of the software that required updates, wouldn't run on php that was so old... and some of it wouldnt run on newer versions.... catch 22...

I was able to get everything updated and running on php 7.1 (2016-2019) -- and working on getting it to 7.3 (2018-2021).

I also found some one interested in re-making the quiz question interface so maybe we can finally get rid of that flash (2000-2020) interface.
