Mr. James Keith Green, age 56, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 in Oceanside, California.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with David Stofel officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10AM-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 14, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois, James was the son of James Edgar Green and Virginia Rae Basham Green. He served his country in the United States Navy. James earned his Associates Degree from California University of Pennsylvania and worked as a health physics technician for Bartlett Nuclear Inc. He was a member of Halls Chapel Church of Christ. James was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed golfing. Above all, he loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter: Amanda R. Green of Oceanside, CA; son: Nathan M. (Rayna) Stephens of Vista, CA; sister: Rebecca L. (David) Mischke of Columbia, TN; mother of his children: Terry (Bart) Wiggs of Oceanside, CA; and grandchildren: Kainen, Sawyer, and Costen Stephens all of Vista, CA.
He was preceded in death by his daughter: Samantha Renee Green.
Pallbearers will be: Ric Yearout, Brian Czajkowski, Richard Steinbach, Brad Mischke, Nathan Stephens, and Adam Mischke.
