Uranium Week: Biden Condemns Trump’s Nuclear Plans

"Biden was responding to President Trump’s recent plan to mine uranium around the Grand Canyon. To achieve this, the President would need to lift the current 20-year ban on new mining in the area."

There appears to be no viable reason to mine uranium around the Grand Canyon versus southern Utah, other than to say "we opened it up the GC for mining."
