We have HPs employed to address the Ra226 exposures at phosphate mining sites.  The State of Florida and the company knew this pond liner was badly degraded.  This is another black eye for nuclear and will hurt the industry (cost jobs), even though phosphate mining isn't directly related.  We should be unhappy about it and not trying to push back on green politicians.

Ha! My point was that was that "as the radiation safety gurus", we should be the ones raising the issues, finding solutions and not fighting the regulators.

I don't think we should jump to any conclusions until we get an official statement from Chicken Little.

"Ha! My point was that was that "as the radiation safety gurus", we should be the ones raising the issues, finding solutions and not fighting the regulators."

and my first point was that was that humor goes well with science

and my second point was that was that you are a hypocrite

and my third point is that is that scientists fighting with regulators is necessary...without the fight science dies

and my last point is that is that, practically speaking, there is no discrete delineation between politics and science, to wit, covid gain of function, face masks, etc
