As a TESC alumnus I would highly recommend the school.  I graduated 9/92 and now fly 767's internationally for a major carrier.  However, I may be looking for a job in the nuke field again if the current financial trend of my air line continues.  NPS Mare Island class 7408...USS Haddo (SSN-604)...Waterford III.

Here's one thread on this particular forum that will probably be helpful: http://www.nukeworker.com/forum/index.php/topic,3982.0.html

You might browse the rest of the Navy Nuke forum for more info as there has been discussion on this in the past also.  I'm certain that you've come to the right place to get answers.  Good Luck & Welcome to Nukeworker!!

When I got out and applied at 2 colleges, neither of them gave them a second look. I went into mechanical engineering so the math and physics starting points are calc and college level anyways. That may be why. They might count if you're going into a non technical Major, but it really is up to each university. The credits are a fact, they are just "recommended" by the navy. That said, that best places to accept the credit are Thomas Edison or the other schools with programs geared towards nukes.
