All hail the power of social media!  Thanks to everyone for your willingness to assist me.

It wasn't two days after I posted here, that I got calls and emails from my recalcitrant recruiter, with full details
(including an attachment of the reimursement form) of how AeroTek was going to take care of this issue.
I'm guessing someone from the head office got wind of this and looked into it.

Today I got a second email from him, stating unequivocally that he expected to mail me the check himself next Wednesday.
Reading between the lines, I gather that this expense wasn't even submitted to the client until yesterday.

I'll believe "whatever it was he said" AFTER the check clears...
