Very cool stuff. We had boxes at Kewaunee on the top of containment! Really put a serious value on the benefit of fall protection! Solid 10 years of successful cycles with the birds! They abandoned ship on the shutdown!

Solar panels do not kill birds outright. However, birds are attracted to the shininess of solar panels, which often look like moving water when flying above. Some birds mistake panels for bodies of water and try to dive into the “water,” which hurts or kills them.  Feb 20, 2022
Most solar farms in the U.S. use photovoltaic panels, which have not been found to cause birds to die in this "flaming" manner.
