Centrus to invest $560M, add 430 jobs at Oak Ridge manufacturing plant

"The only uranium enrichment centrifuge manufacturing facility in the U.S. is expanding its operations in East Tennessee."  Why would they say that?  It's not the only uranium enrichment centrifuge manufacturing facility in the U.S. if Pike County Ohio has the same thing.... ???  :-X

I misread that.  Wow, Centrus is building centrifuge parts in TN for their one customer: Centrus of Piketon, OH. I guess it's not even a radiological operation. It's largely steel parts manufacturing.
It sounds good that they're going to sell nationwide, but it's more slick cash-in business for Centrus. Could have made parts right next-door in Piketon, but DOE grants always want to spread the wealth across the complex.
