Wayne Rouse died while working at Brunswick Nuclear Plant on October 8th 1993. He died of a massive heart attack that morning. Wayne really enjoyed the time he spent in Southport, NC and loved saltwater fishing. Wayne was one of a kind and will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife Sandra, and children who live in Alabama. Info provided by Derrick Dameron dsdameron@msn.com

Wayne was a great guy. I worked with him a few times. He also had a daughter in the business and she was married to Tommy Klunschu way back when. His other daughter was married to a good friend of mine Eddie Humphreys. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I was there that day when he passed on. It was extremely sudden. Wayne was one of the good ones! He will be missed by me.  :(

I was there when he passed on too! I worked with him at Brunswick. He was one of the nicest people I knew there. He was so laid back. He was on a health kick at the time and looked great! You just never know when your time is up. His whole family are great people. I miss them all.
