Can any one tell me if the Hematite plant in Festus, Mo.  will be hiring in the near future?  Who has the contract for Rad Con?  Any info will be appreciated.

Shortly after I left there in 1999 the place was sold to Westinghouse who promptly shut the place down, dismantled the rod line for movement elsewhere, and layed every one off.
According to friends who still live in the area, some stab at D&D was commencing but whether the effort is ongoing, or stalled, no one seems to know.

I know they did some D&D work there. K2 Environmental had some HP types there but that was over a year ago.

Any non local HP considering going to Hematite Site in the future went and if Westinghouse ever figures it out should just run, Westinghouse doesn't have a clue about D&D or being professional. You have been warned!
