Seeking radiological data on Candu pumps
« on: Jul 28, 2006, 12:04 »
I have a colleague who needs some information but has no source.  They are seeking this information for application for an Import/Export License from the NRC.  So I have offered to be the point person for this query.  Therefore, I am seeking radiological information on a Primary Heat Transport Motor from a CANDU system, particularly from the Pickering and the Bruce plants.  The information would be for the motor after it has been removed from the plant and packaged for shipment.  Specifics required are the general isotopic profile and the activity present.
I hope this is enough to get the information.  It is all that I have at the present, however if more is needed, I can probably obtain it fairly quickly.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Yea, though I walk through the boundaries of containment, I shall fear no dose, for my meters are with me.  My counters, air sample filters, and smears, they comfort me.

Perhaps the workability of asking this in an open forum won't bring forth the data I am seeking.  If someone has this information, yet doesn't want to be in public with it, please IM me through this site and we can communicate in that venue or any other you wish.  Thanks again in advance.
