damfuzzy.... ed (canned ham) schnell left the beav in the 80s. vogle wuz his landing site, i believe. he got into probs there 'n departed. after that i believe he was with vepco, possibly at surrey. ended up opting out of the biz from there. rumor has it he's successfully running a string of used car frachises.

Thanks for the info on Ed. I think I'd even buy a used car from him if he hasn't changed. I wrote HP procedures for him back before BV startup. Still remember drop testing SRDs (how far?) and lunches across the river on MSA who wanted BV to buy their air packs. We also worked in a trailer with a then young engineer... Ray Ireland, I believe. Was a good guy. I think their HP supervisor was a Jack Allingham(?) at that time. Not sure what happened to him.

Overall I had an ok experience there but a real STRONG union plant. I got three days off without pay or diem when I walked down the hall and picked up a screw driver an electrician dropped. His helper reported me and they didn't even bother listening to my side.
