(1/1)

fewafea:
can you invest in a nuclear power plant? I cant find anything on the wbsite? plz help??

retired nuke:
You can invest in the Utility / owner of a nuclear power plant.

Rennhack:
Unless it is owned by a municipality, yes, you can invest in the company that owns a power plant.

Go to the Facility info tab, find the Nuclear Plant you want to invest in, and click on it.

We list the ticker symbol for the company that owns the facility, and a link to their web site.

Brett LaVigne:
Also, when you get to the utility web site find the investor relations link, if they are a public company they will have it.  I would also like to endorse a book for newbee investors like me, and maybe you?

Jim Cramer, Sane investing in an insane world.  It is an easy read and puts the mombojumbo into real world language.  There is a lot to look at when picking a stock, don't do it just because you like the company, do it because you like the company, it has good leadership and sound business practices, it's stock is at a favorable cost to earnings ratio and it has a good catalyst for future growth (ie. building new nuke plants :)).  Forgive me if I made the assumption that you didn't know any of that but there are plenty of young guys who read these posts as well.
