Title: interview question for a potential house job

First time applying for a house RP/HP job.  Was wondering what types of question to ask if i get choosen for a interview.  Not really sure what to ask Please help.

Not to be a smartass but just ask the questions you would like answers to. You need to make sure this job is a good fit for you in case you get an offer. You probably have an idea of what aspects of RP you enjoy most ( job coverage, lead tech, alara, instrumentation, etc) so you may want to ask how the natural progression goes at that plant.

Dont ask about salary or relocation and definitely don't ask how soon you can transfer out of the department!

You can ask union vs non-union...
About the surrounding area/schools.
4-10s vs 5-8s vs rotating shift
Their training program..  How long last class of new guys took to get their quals..
Upward progression.
Is there a high turnover rate?
Is upward mobility expected/encouraged?

I think it's a good idea to have some questions in mind before the interview.  Good luck!
