Vogtle 3 & 4 NEED to finish, and they WILL finish.

They understand what is at stake.  The top leadership (CEO, Presidents, Vice Presidents, CNO's, etc) for Southern Nuclear/Power, Georgia Power, Oglethorpe Power, and Dalton Utilities are all on site daily keeping an eye on the project.  They know what happened at VC Summer. Southern is now running the show, and have a great grasp of what needs to happen and when.  They are 'on schedule', and determined to finish on schedule.

(I Just took a tour of the site this week, and was very impressed)

Once these initial reactors are built, it IS possible to make these units for the original price, just not the first one or two.  There are so many lessons learned involved with a new process.
