Title: Employment as Instrument and Control Tech
Post by: Ernsay on Mar 22, 2020, 12:48
Hey Guys,
I'm new to the forum and wanted to pose a few questions.
I'm a Journeyman Electrician from Michigan working for a notable statewide Industrial electrical contractor as a Service Electrician.
I have an Associates in Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Technology and 6 years in the trade. However I have always wanted to work in a Nuclear power plant as an instrument control tech, so I applied a few months ago for a position at a Nuke plant down state and was surprised to get invited to take the Behavioral test, which I passed. And then the MASS test, which I also passed. Now my application heads to a review team. But I'm just wondering what types of Electronics or Instruments I should brush up on to help me be better prepared for this type of job?
