Title: Air Force Debates Replacing Depleted Uranium Rounds for A-10

   I was not sure were to put this one but trivia is a good as any. I worked with an entry level waste specialist that did some of these cleanups. He was a Marine Corp sniper who finished his tour doing waste site cleanups including DU. From Sniper to, battle field waste remediation, to remediation at a National Nuclear Security Administration site, definitely an atypical career path to nuke.    ;)

The video of those 100 rounds in 2.1 seconds brought back memories of a job at Lake City back in the 90s. I must say it was impressive when they did the test fires. What was more impressive was the testing of tracer rounds at dusk. That looked like a laser going downrange.
