Title: Navigating Employment with Duke Energy with Grace

My husband is detaching from the Navy Jan. 4, 2013 and will be starting termination leave this December.  We have our eye on the Oconee plant and were hoping to gain some advice on how to navigate getting an NLO job there.  Also, any information on timeframes and what to expect from Duke would be greatly appreciated as I'm sure you all understand we are anxious about the transition. Thanks so much!

This site has more than enough information for your husband to successfully transition to the commercial side.  The only road block he may encounter is scheduling (when Oconee hires NLO's).  Here are the boards to start with:
